My journey

Every child deserves an equal chance

I'm driven by the belief that every child deserves an equal chance to succeed, whatever their learning needs. With hands-on experience across primary and secondary settings, I've dedicated my career to inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environments where all pupils can thrive.

Specialising in SEND, I work closely with students with EHCPs, delivering tailored interventions, leading restorative practices and co-planning differentiated lessons that align with the national curriculum.

My approach combines empathy with structure, using visual aids, assistive technology and behaviour-informed strategies to meet each learner where they are. I’m especially passionate about mental health in education, and about making sure both academic and emotional needs are met.

I am also studying for an MSc in Psychology, to deepen my understanding of learning, behaviour and wellbeing.

For me, teaching is not just a profession. It's a calling to make a meaningful difference, one learner at a time.

Mentoring

Alongside teaching, I mentor students and early-career professionals, including through the Global Mentorship Initiative. The same habits run through all of it: planning ahead, checking in, and helping people find their own direction.

Outside the classroom, I notice the small things.

Photography and cooking are how I slow down. Have a look at what I see and make.
