Together, we focus on understanding the whole child, not just the challenge.

Every child has unique strengths, learning styles and developmental needs. Sometimes children experience challenges with confidence, emotional regulation, behaviour, learning, communication, or adapting to everyday situations. Early guidance and consistent support can make a meaningful difference.

This programme offers educational consultation, child development guidance and parent coaching. It is designed to support children’s learning, behaviour, confidence and overall development.

Programme structure

Six phases over six weeks. Sessions are 60 minutes each.

  1. Phase 1 60 minutes

    Parent consultation

A detailed conversation with the parent(s) or main caregiver(s) about your child's background, current concerns and developmental journey, before I work directly with your child.

  2. Phase 2 Weeks 1 and 2 · two sessions

    Child development sessions

An introductory session and a progress session focused on building rapport and a safe, supportive space. Activities are personalised to your child's age, interests, strengths and needs.

  3. Phase 3

    Parent progress review

A detailed update: first observations, your child's strengths, areas needing continued support, progress so far, practical strategies for home and recommendations for the next phase.

  4. Phase 4

    Parent and child collaborative session

A joint session to strengthen communication, build mutual understanding and encourage positive interactions between parent and child.

  5. Phase 5 Weeks 3 and 4 · two sessions

    Child development sessions

Building on progress while introducing new strategies that support long-term personal and academic development.

  6. Phase 6 Final session

    Personalised action plan

A full review of your child's progress, with a written action plan, home strategies and, where appropriate, recommendations for school.

What we may work on

Every child is different, so the focus is chosen together after the consultation.

Areas of focus may include:

  • Confidence building
  • Emotional awareness
  • Communication skills
  • Positive behaviour strategies
  • Study techniques
  • Problem-solving and decision making
  • Self-regulation
  • Social interaction
  • Building independence

What parents receive

A progress summary, key observations, areas of growth, ongoing recommendations, home support strategies, school recommendations where appropriate, and a personalised action plan.

After the six weeks

Many children reach their goals within the programme. Others benefit from continued guidance, so follow-up sessions are available on request and shaped around your child's needs. There is no obligation to continue.

Questions about this programme

How long is the programme?

Six weeks. It starts with a 60-minute consultation with you, followed by four sessions with your child, a progress review with you, a joint parent and child session, and a final session with a personalised action plan. Sessions are 60 minutes each.

Is it suitable for my child's age?

Activities are personalised to each child's age, interests, strengths and needs. Mention your child's age in your enquiry so the first consultation can be planned around it.

How involved will I be as a parent?

Closely. You take part in the first consultation, a progress review, a joint session with your child and the final review, and you receive practical strategies to use at home between sessions.

What should I prepare for the first consultation?

It helps to think about your child's developmental and school history, what they are good at, what feels hard at the moment, and what you would like to change. Recent school reports or notes from school are useful if you have them.

Are sessions online or in person?

Get in touch with your location and availability, and we will agree the format that works best.

Is this therapy or a diagnosis?

No. The programme offers educational guidance and parent coaching. It does not provide medical diagnosis, psychological assessment or clinical therapy. Where it would help, families may be advised to speak to a registered healthcare or mental health professional.

What happens after the six weeks?

Many children reach their goals within the programme. Follow-up sessions are available on request, shaped around your child's needs, with no obligation to continue.
